The Astronomy Logbook Project


Here, you can download some pre-made logbooks for some lists of objects. You can use these for observing projects.
These are huge files (100s of Megabytes), so you sure want to check out some sample pages before you download.


Known issue with this version: Coordinates of bright stars are slightly off, due to a misinterpretation of the Hipparcos catalog epoch as J2000.0 instead of J1991.25. It should, however, not really affect usability significantly. Just know that the positions of bright stars may be off by about 1 or 2 arcminutes.
